Los Cristianos
Nestled in the South-West corner of Tenerife, Los Cristianos is a popular resort with beautiful beaches and yummy restaurants. Originally a small fishing village, the town still retains its charm with its crisscrossing pedestrian streets and stunning churches. The harbour is the heart of the town and a wonderful spot to pick up a local dolphin tour or catamaran. The local beaches are a family-friendly place to visit, paddle in the sea and are a snorkeling haven as well as having a thriving diving community.
The Los Cristianos Promenade traces the sea front across the town and along to Playa de las Americas. It's a wonderful walk during the day or at sundown and you can choose to stop at various delicious eateries en-route or do a spot of shopping.
If you want to venture out of Los Cristianos then the lava plains are a spectacular day out. For a more relaxing afternoon there are many golf courses on the island to enjoy. If you fancy some family fun there is Loro Parque (wildlife), Monkey World, Eagle World, aqua parks, go karting and horse riding on the island inland.
